I saw a dream in which one person set the fire behind me and I was running and fire chased me..got upset with this dream..
I have been having the same recurring dream on and off since I was 6, used to have it every other night until I was in my late teens, early 20s which started after a bad virus. they stopped for a few years but are back now I’m in my 30’s. I have started having the same dream again every few months I where I’m trapped inside my house and unable to escape the fire that is spreading fast. I am so scared but no matter what I do I can’t get out or even move. Even though the fire is spreading it never reaches or burns me. But I always hear my childhood imaginary friends voice but can’t make out her words. When I wake up my heart is pounding and I can smell burning in my house.

I had a dream a lot like yours, and for a while too. In my dream there are many objects around, like water or coffee. It is an office building I’m trapped in. I’ve been thinking about what it may mean, and I think it’s heroism. I think it’s my brain’s way of telling me to find the way out using the resources available, I may need to save someone I care a lot about. If yours has specific objects in it you can remember, it may mean the same thing as mine. I don’t know for sure what yours means, but I’m a loyal person, and even though fire is my worst fear, I would save a person from a fire if I knew it was what I was supposed to do, and I think my dream is telling me I may need to support a friend in a tough time in their future.
A woman running down the street with her children, a car is in fire at the end of the block. As she and her children are running away, I notice that her dress and hair is starting to flame up and I could tell she didn’t realize it. Had a dream where i was walking down a tunnel that was on fire over my head. As i walked faces of loved ones would appear through the fire. I felt calm as i walked and was never afraid. I reached the end and there was a hole in the ground, like a well. I looked down and there were blue flames at the bottom( coincidentally im a gas fitter and natural gas burns blue). In my dream I was trapped/held in a school type building with other people by some people with guns. I was able to sneak a phone call to authorities but didn’t know a location to give them to find me. Other people I was with didn’t know where either. I ended up outside the building and off in a peaceful place, I don’t know when or how I got out of the lockdown but was on a walk on the sidewalk later at night time and found myself outside the building I was in before. The building was on fire inside and my co workers were banging on the windows trying to escape. I was in shock and panic thinking how the hell did I get out of there and they are still trapped? I could have been helping them the whole time but was taking a walk instead. I was trying to climb a structure so I could throw some sort of rope to a certain co worker Alex. He had broken a window on the top story and it was too far to jump. When I got to the top of the structure near by parallel to the school I tried to balance on the top and prepared to throw the rope. The top tilted and I slid down failing to help him. I went to the bottom story and tried braking windows, I saw people inside coughing and fanning away smoke with their jackets. I noticed an open window and thought that’s not good fresh air will be feeding the fire. I never thought in the moment people could escape from there. The windows were too thick to break so I started digging threw the wall. This is the weird part.
When I finally broke threw to the other side it was clear of fire, clear of smoke, in fact there had never been a fire or smoke and the people inside were having a good time smiling and talking to eachother leaning over a kitchen counter.. There were 4 people I think and the walls were white. Most everything in the kitchen was white and everyones hair was brown. I remember being really confused and then it was over.

Hi Kylee, I am not an expert but from the various things that I have read trying to understand my own dreams it sounds like there may be a few different issues & struggles going on in your life. The fact that you feel trapped could mean that you feel out of control in your life. Seeing people panicking & trying to escape while you were able to escape only to find them perfectly fine, no fire may suggest that you feel like there may be problems and or turmoil & stress between you & others in your life when in fact on their end there is no problem at all. It could be the stress & current struggles within your personal life making it feel as though it is affecting others & how they may view you when in fact they don’t even know or see any problems. The fact that you were trying to rescue & help Alex suggests that this person is important to you and you have strong feelings & care toward them but maybe they don’t know just how much you care as you could not get the rope to them. As I said I am not an expert so please forgive me if I am off. You asked for replies and I think it’s nice to get different thoughts & ideas. The actual and scientic reason behind your dreams is….closed Windows..u should open all your windows before sleeping…for proper vantilation and fire is nothing but it signify the warmness and suffocation produced due to closed Windows….so u should not fear and just sleep in proper vantilation by open windows before sleep…..have a nice day.

I had a dream my own house was on fire, it was pretty weird and scary. So there was a knock on the door and a lady came inside. She threatened my family saying you guys have to move out or I’m lighting your house on fire. So my family and I started to pack everything frantically, and we were almost done. I dreamt that I accidentally set a tv on fire and it was flaming high, I grabbed a box of salt and it put it out. I was trying to get people out of my house before that that were unwelcome. I went for a walk, and when I came back, that’s when I had the fire in my kitchen. The TV was on the kitchen table and I was taking off Christmas decorations from the screen I had placed on there that said, “Seasons Greetings”. When I ripped off the garland lettering decor, the screen ripped off and for some reason started a fire in the power of the tv. So I immediately went into the cabinet and found the salt and threw it into the fire and it was put out. I felt I was in control of the fire. I slept a total of 10 hours through this dream. I woke up feeling it was real. Very lucid. Could we be in another world when dreaming?
I dreamt that a room in my house got completely burnt down. Nothing could be salvaged. As I enter the room, I saw that only wardrobes and book shelves were inside but no bed.

I honestly don’t remember all of the dream but 3-4 elements stick out. See almost all the houses around me on fire with electricity as part of the flames(i think lightning caused it) and worrying about my home(living with my parents) in a wooded area..Only most of the trees were fine if I recall right only the houses.

I had 2 fire dreams in 1 night, in both I was scared. In the 1st dream I was with my friend who was with a priest who was cheating on his wife with her and I wanted to leave and my truck wouldn’t start, so I popped the hood and the engine was on fire so I yelled “get back! I don’t know if it is going to blow up!” She said oh and walked over and turned a knob and the fire went away. Then in the next dream I was with my boyfriend at a park and someone had vandalized all the play things and I wanted to play so I started to fix everything so just as it was fixed hot ashes and flames were falling from the sky so everyone started running and we saw some berries so we stopped to eat them and managed to stay away from the flames.
