Most women like the idea of a man with some characteristics of James Bond. They find the actors playing Bond attractive. Its the same reaction to most leading man types. However, ..they don’t seem to actually like Bond movies or books. I know a lot of hot women and they think the films are silly. They will see a Bond film to placate their partner but you wont’ find a group of women in line to see a Bond film. They don’t buy the product placement. Most actors who have played Bond have not concealed their contempt for the role. The reason they don’t use Superman to sell cars and watches is because he is not real….surprise…neither is Bond. Was that shaken not stirred enough for you.

Reasonably good article. Yes – there is a panther-like magnetism about the Bond character that IS attractive to both sexes (even a degree of homo-eroticism). Fact is that Bond says little – he controls the silence -, he listens intently and he ALWAYS has a mission, his purpose to which the woman is secondary. He is supremely confident without arrogance but is ultimately vulnerable.
We can all learn from him – he is basically being simply a masculine male (no, not pumped and aggressive) – and that is what femine females actually desire

James Bond is my role model. To me he is a very mysterious man which I am also. I never throw everything out on the table about myself and I’m sometimes silent when asked about my past. I don’t have anything to hide is just that I prefer to keep some things only to myself.

I’m a woman and i have never felt a bit attracted to James Bond at all i don’t know what all the fuss is about he cares too much about appearances and dress code this is far to superficial and shallow. James Bond lacks compassion for other human beings with all his killings so unappealing not even a good role model. If James Bond is so confident then how come he struggled to reach any of his own goals in life like self fulfilment and actualisation surely to be confident you are sure of your own weaknesses and move on to achieve what you actually want to do in life and not get swayed by your associates that James Bond regularly did and that is not confidence he was in a subordinate position and that shows a complete lack of confidence for and sleeping around with loads of women is a major big sign a insecurity.
